The challenge
Uyghur speakers had few modern, native dictionary tools. Most options handled the right-to-left script poorly and were never designed for a phone.
The approach
We built a native app around one fast search field that translates in every direction between Uyghur, English and Turkish, with proper right-to-left rendering, a customizable dictionary appearance, and cloud sync so a word looked up on one device shows up on the others.
The outcome
About 100,000 words, four Apple platforms, and a 4.9-star rating from the people it was built for.
